Problem

The company faced the challenge of relying on a fragmented time-tracking and finance setup, while also needing to retire its existing system and transition core operational functions, such as time logging, payroll, invoicing, and HR workflows, into Odoo. The key challenge was distributing financial data across companies, countries, projects, and employees while fully accounting for each individual's contribution to revenue or costs to ensure complete transparency. Additionally, while the sales, recruiting, and resource management teams operated effectively within Salesforce, the lack of integration created issues with data consistency and process alignment.

Solution

We migrated time tracking and financial operations to Odoo, including a multi-country payroll setup with country-specific salary rules, taxes, and contributions, as well as invoicing and accounting.

We also configured analytic distribution across companies, countries, projects, and employees to ensure transparent tracking of revenue and cost contributions.

Moreover, our team implemented a Salesforce-Odoo connector for bidirectional data synchronization between the two systems.
