The existing Odoo 14 environment also needed to be modernized and prepared for a major upgrade.

Solution

Our team initially joined the project to support specific areas through the implementation of VentorTech products. As the collaboration progressed and mutual trust developed, full responsibility for the project was transitioned to us.

Once onboard, we carefully assessed the existing setup and began systematically addressing the technical and organizational issues inherited from previous development efforts. A key part of our work involved improving and stabilizing the integration between Odoo and Magento, ensuring smoother data flow and better process alignment across systems.

We also carried out the migration from Odoo 14 to Odoo 19, adapting the existing setup, custom functionality, and integrations to the new version while addressing legacy issues accumulated over the years.

Results

As a result of our involvement, the company significantly reduced manual workload and improved efficiency across key operational processes. The Odoo–Magento integration was stabilized, enabling more consistent data flow and reliable day-to-day operations.

The successful migration from Odoo 14 to Odoo 19 moved the company away from an aging system and provided a more modern and maintainable foundation for further development. Core systems became better aligned, reducing errors and delays and improving overall system stability.
