    With the right setup, such as proper hosting, PostgreSQL tuning (including data replication), Odoo configuration, optimal load-balancing, data caching, and async jobs — yes. On the operations side, our business analysts may suggest optimal workflows to keep throughput high, for example in a warehouse: batch/cluster/wave picking, mobile scanning, optimized putaway routes, etc.

    Our engineers can also perform high-load performance tests against your peak profile and scale infrastructure vertically and horizontally (load-balanced app nodes, separate DB/reporting) as needed.

  • 💾 How easy is data migration (customers, devices/serials, BOMs)?

    We run staged migrations with templates based on the follow data: (1) master data (customers, products, and vendors), (2) BOMs/routings, (3) inventory with lot/serial opening balances (your installed base/devices), (4) open sales/purchase orders and deliveries, and (5) financial opening balances. Each wave is test-loaded, reconciled, and signed off; we provide mapping, data transformation and validation scripts (if needed), and parallel runs to de-risk and go live.

    In the vast majority of cases, we try to export from the current system and import into Odoo via API and scripts, which allows us to run and re-run the import several times on constantly updated data (as your business continues to develop while Odoo is being implemented) right up until the go-live moment.
